SUMMARY
I see a bright flash of light while on the computer.
PRELIMINARY EVENTS
Had spent the last couple days rearranging my work area. Had not been in that location for more than a day and a half.
LOCATION OVERVIEW
I'm sitting in the livingroom at the computer located across from the doorway. There are two lamps on but the brighter lamplight is sitting on the floor next to the long bedroom wall and its light a dim gold brown shadowing, while the lamp on top of the computer hutch is its usual 40 watt self. Altogether the light is no more than 50 watts in brightness.

DREAM ACCOUNT
I was reviewing my Blog Visitor stats when to my left directly across from me, a large section of space is lit up by a bright, silent explosion of white light[1]. It was at floor level and it was like the light appeared as a sheet of light that spread out as it brightened then blinked out. The flash lasted no more than a few seconds. It's height was 5 to 6 feet and at least 2 feet wide.
I was remarkably calm, but sat gawking then looking around for anything strange and finding nothing. I considered that maybe a USB port exploded, so I stood, taking out my earplugs and l got one or two steps before I realized that the ports were on the far right, some four feet from the light. And there was no smell of smoke or anything. No change in room temperature, not even a tingle down my spine. Nada. Almost surreal. I checked the wiring but nothing seemed amiss. It felt pointless, really. I knew it was a spirit, and I started to get a spooked feeling as I considered that who- or whatever it was was probably watching me try to explain away what I'd clearly seen.
FINAL COMMENTS
Nothing more happened that night nor in the upcoming days.
EVENT INTERPRETATION
I feel it was a spirit just letting me know it was there.

It was also about 2 feet from the wall and about five feet from where I sat. In the past I've seen two other similar flashes that were smaller and seen peripherally.

Or... you had some neurons in your brain activated by something. Did you drink, smoke, inhale anyhting unusual prior to the event? are you on soem pills?
Many times I have seen likes circles of light and dark - like round stripes - dancing before my eyes, accompanied by a sense of aloofness, like I am going to faint. Probably due to lack of sugar or soemthing in the blood. This is weird.

Nope. I don't do use mind-altering drugs, alcohol or smoke weed, and the like. Although neurons flashing is an interesting possibility, however, I'm pretty certain that would be a far smaller flash of light and appear much closer to the eye. What I saw was at least four feet in height and about three and a half feet away.
I've seen flashes of light before, but they were seen peripherally. Usually out of the right eye.
And, yes, it seems weird, only I'm kinda use to them. I felt totally normal, not faint or vibrating. I've also seem dark flashes. I haven't posted those accounts yet, but I will! And just a few nights ago, with my eyes closed, I saw some cloud and light images that rotated into different shapes. It was so vivid and beautiful.
