PRELIMINARY EVENTS

Today, I went to bed and asked (during prayer) who the admirer was that I've been dreaming of.

I soon had two dreams which take place in different but neighboring eras. In the first dream I appear to be my 18c novel's female character, Fenestra (who is a black servant).

SETTING LOCATION

Era of the dream felt to be mid to late Eighteenth Century (possibly mid 19th Century) England. I'm standing in a large room that is reasonably well lit except the corner nearby which is shadowy. To my immediate left is a doorway (dream screen center) that apparently leads to a hallway.

Segment 1

PARTICIPATING. I'm standing near one corner of a room, with a chair an arm's length away. It seems a young white man[3] was already in the room, hiding in the dim light of the corner. He steps forward, smiling, and sits facing me. He says he wants me to be his woman. I forgot the exact words he used, but the inference is of my being his mistress or sex partner because he reaches up and unties the front of my dress bodice[2] which loosens the fabric, then he takes his finger and tugs down on the bodice neck and peeks inside at my bare breasts. He seems pleased with them for he smiles and releases the fabric. This satisfaction confirms that we will be lovers.

Although his offer feels to be somewhat taboo, I desire the relationship, as well, so I accept his offer which clearly makes him happy. I retie the corset, turn, and walk away, but he says something and I look back.

Segment 2

There is an older person--a woman, I think,--who had died but her spirit remains in a particular room of the house. This room is large, airy, and okay lit. There is a strong feeling the family is wealthy.

DRESS DESCRIPTION

The dress is distinctly eighteenth century in appearance, with an A-line skirt and a black corset-style bodice attached to the sides of the dress. The dress fabric is floral (or a similar medium-sized print) of wine, black, and beige on a cream background. Several black bodice straps crisscross in the back over the underlying floral fabric.

A handsome man in his early to mid 20s with light skin, dark blond hair (or darker) cut short in slightly curled layers or waves, nice-sized nose, thin lips, dark eyes, reasonably tall, and slender. He seemed to be a nice and sincere, but determined person from what is felt to be a wealthy family.

MAN'S CLOTHING DESCRIPTION

His clothing had a distinct eighteenth century look to them. He wore a black waistcoat (what Americans call a vest) over a white, tab collar shirt. The pants were of a stretch? black fabric.

FINAL COMMENTS

How interesting that the Main Character (MC) in my novel is having an ongoing sexual relationship with his childhood servant. For years I've wondered if the story characters were people I had known in a previous life. In fact, that possibility has been suggested by a few people when I mentioned the events of synchronicity that happened during the writing of the first chapters. Who knows?

Also, this is the first time I've seen 18c clothing this clearly in a dream. I could feel him tugging at the top, feel air as my breasts were exposed.
